Hand Dryer

Learning is fun.

We’ll be modeling a Hand Dryer for this lesson. Based on the proven design of the World Dryer Corporation’s hand dryer. The modeling combines a number of techniques widely used in Rhino. Any version of Rhino can be used for this tutorial, and I heartily recommend that you download a trial version and give it a spin.

Layer Dialog

First of lets set up our layers which also divides our work into different sections. We will start by setting up five layers: Structure. This will contain the majority of our mesh. Exhaust Blend. An area of the structure which we will use as the exhaust nozzle placement area. Exhaust Nozzle Name Plaque. The logo and serial number plate. The On/Off button.
